Uveitic glaucoma
A secondary glaucoma in which optic nerve damage results from elevated intraocular pressure secondary to intraocular inflammation via trabecular inflammation/obstruction, steroid response, or synechial anglenclosure in the setting of uveitis. Compared with primary open-angle glaucoma, it often has a more aggressive course, with very high intraocular pressure that waxes and wanes.
