Pediatric Crohn disease

A Crohn disease with onset before adulthood, characterized by a greater frequency of extensive ileocolonic and upper gastrointestinal involvement than adult-onset disease, and by growth failure and pubertal delay; management must address linear growth, nutrition and pubertal development in addition to induction and maintenance of remission.
